Thanks to Western Governors University and Dion Training Solutions I am officially A+ certified with CompTIA! The study material from both WGU and Dion Training were tremendously helpful in preparation for the test; it also helps to have a few years of OTJ training. Now onto Network+ and Security+

Working on personal content development of the CompTIA Security 701 version for my current Sec + 701 batch, found the content amazing, completely overhauled the syllabus from its previous version and introduced new and latest topics which are missing in some big vendor-neutral bodies exam, moreover, their domains are pretty much aligned with content and this is just an entry-level course of CompTIA.Even if you are certified in InfoSec Management, suggest a time read of the CompTIA Sec + 701 course book. CompTIA's positioning of this course as entry-level is just a misnomer, nothing like entry-level in this course, if a novice reads and spends time on the course, he can gain a lot of knowledge. Must have certification for people looking for a career in cybersec with 1-2 years of experience. Protecte AcademyGhazal K#Sec+ #CompTIA

🎉 Achievement Unlocked: Passed CompTIA Security+ Exam! 🎉I'm thrilled to announce that I’ve passed the CompTIA Security+ exam today! This accomplishment is a significant step forward in my cybersecurity career, and I want to share the journey and resources that helped me get here:1- Professor Messer’s Free Videos: I started with these comprehensive and engaging videos, which provided a strong foundation in all the exam topics.2- CompTIA Security+ Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-601 Study Guide by Darril Gibson: This book was invaluable in deepening my understanding of the material.3- CompTIA Security+ Exam Cram with Pete Zerger (My Favorite): I watched these videos multiple times on YouTube to reinforce key concepts. You can find the series here: https://lnkd.in/euNsR6hp4- ChatGPT: I used ChatGPT extensively to study each domain( It is important to download the exam's objective). It provided me with questions on various topics, and I practiced by answering them one by one. Additionally, I created comparison tables, added tips, and explored use cases for different concepts, which greatly enhanced my understanding.5- ExamCompass Practice Tests - I completed all 25 practice exams available on ExamCompass to test my knowledge and readiness. You can access them here: https://lnkd.in/efsHNSjN6- CompTIA Security+ Master Cheat Sheet - The day before the exam, I reviewed this 33-page cheat sheet to ensure all key points were fresh in my mind.7- Security+ Last Minute Review Guide by Mike Chapple - I purchased this guide for a final, focused review of critical concepts.8- Free Study Group on CertMike - Joining this group provided additional. support and insights from fellow learners. More info here: CertMike Study Group.I am deeply grateful to all these resources and the community that supported me throughout this journey.

The past several months of working from the Front Line of Support has made me appreciate the importance of having strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. To earn the CompTIA CySA+ certification, I relied heavily on Jason Dion’s CySA+ and PenTest+ courses on Udemy, combined with my burgeoning experience.Other useful resources:- TryHackMe’s SOC Level 1 learning path- CertPreps’ CySA+ practice tests- Dion Training Solutions always saving me some bucks on exam vouchers Reviewing the PenTest+ material as part of my studies was invaluable, providing useful insights from an adversary’s perspective. The learning never ends.
