I love this place! It's so peaceful. It's a perfect place to go to just get away from the stress of e everyday life. The cabins are very affordable and the staff are super friendly. This is a perfect vacation for people with children. They have a couple if hiking trails. One that ends in a beautiful waterfall! They also have a pond for fishing and creeks as well. Lots of wildlife. One of my favorite places to get away and reset!
Came here for my granddaughter's destination wedding as the grooms family is local. Was so pleasantly surprised upon arrival, since this had been blindly booked for quite some time. I was expecting a "camping cabin" but found a cozy cottage, fully stocked with supplies to cook, serve and entertain. Will definitely be back for a longer retreat!! A 5 hour drive makes it so close but yet so far!
This past summer, I worked at Camp Alta Mons as a camp counselor. The camp itself is clean, accommodating, and easy to find. There is always something fun to do, such as canoeing, hiking, or swimming. Regardless of your outdoor / camping experience, I would highly recommend applying, or even just visiting!

Know before you go
- Consider booking cozy cottages instead of camping cabins for added comfort
- Plan ahead if interested in using the pool by informing staff beforehand
- For more child-friendly activities, explore spots with additional amenities beyond basic playgrounds
- Take advantage of camperships if unable to afford summer or winter camps at Alta Mons

We love hiking into Stiles Falls and am so greatful to Alta Mons for letting us in to enjoy their beautiful camp and Falls.
Great private place to camp (tent or RV). Great hike and falls. Creeks and river are fun to play in. Bathhouse could use a refresh.
